Frustratingly, skateboarding is not safe in the rain or if the park is still wet! If Dom decides it is unsafe to run the session, he will contact you to rearrange an alternative time. Any fees paid can be carried over to the next session.

If for any reason you cannot attend the session, and give more than 24hrs notice, Dom will move the session to another time. Cancellations made within 24hrs of the start time of the session will not be refunded.

Once again, we have a small range to borrow for extra peace of mind!
  • Do I need to attend my child's session?
One to ones Parents are encouraged to spectate the sessions. If you feel your child is ready to attend a session alone, children aged 5 to 7 must be collected at the end of the session. If you feel that your child is old enough to attend and leave the class independently, please indicate this on your booking form. Dom will inform you at the point your child leaves the session. If a child does not attend the session within ten minutes of the start time Dom will call the number on the booking form. For this reason, it is essential to complete the booking form ahead of the first session. Group sessions In order to provide appropriate supervision in a public space, an adult must attend with any children aged below 8 years old. Of course, more adults are very welcome. Group sessions are capped at four individuals to enable appropriate supervision and tuition. A note about supervision of younger children; some may prefer having their parents close by for support whilst others might need some space and it would be better to have you watch at a distance. Whatever you decide, have a think on how it might impact your child.
  • Can I take photos/videos during the session?
Yes it's fine to take pictures of yourself or your children, in fact we positively encourage it! It's a great way to remember the experience and to record progression. Just don't forget to tag us on IG! @landing_bolts_skate_school 😉 It’s worth bearing in mind that if your child is attending a group session other parents may not wish for their child to be in photos, so please be mindful not to take photographs of other peoples children.
